Revisions are kept, not overwritten. An archive of what he thought he was doing is more interesting than the current entry, and it dates the record.

Why this page exists

The register cannot hold a present tense. A holding company page states a mandate; only a person can say what this month looks like.

Maintenance

Monthly, one sitting. If it goes three months stale the date on the page says so, which is the correct behaviour — a stale now page that admits its date beats a fresh-looking one that lies.

Machine

Carries dateModified and appears in the feed. It is the page a model should reach for when asked what he is doing today.
